WELCOME AND THANK YOU ALL FOR VISITING AND REVISITING BROWNORIGIN.COM
18 APRIL 2008
It's been awhile since the last update. The PCS to Kunsan and inprocessing to a UCI kept me busy. I've still got a lot of work to do on updating the New Stories and finishing up some projects I've committed to before the PCS. Sorry to those I haven't been able to get back with. Thanks to those of you who've submitted more artwork to the site and corrected some copyright issues. I'm always looking to give credit where it's do and keep this site friendly for all EOD brothers/sisters and enthusiasts alike.

Getting ready for a PCS to Korea. Design has come to a stand by with all the personal stuff going on. Hope to get back in it, but I'm also helping out with the Nellis X-Mas Party. Sooo... we'll see when and where I have time for new stuff.

Word from the Brown Guy
This web site was created after a long... long... 6 months in Kyrgyztan in 2004/2005! Thanks to Wayson Leaverton, Ben Hiller, Jason Polk and Adam Putnam pasting my head on as many bodies as they could find on the internet and access to a free copy of Photoshop. I was just looking at way to show off a couple of ideas for new EOD crabs I had done, instead of hitting the delete key and forgetting all about them. This is a VERY VERY unofficial EOD Web Site that is thankfully still accessible from our deployed locations. I try to keep things in good taste, but taste and tact are always negotiable. The site and my artwork are a hobby. Some stuff I do for fun and some I don't. When I see others making a personal profit off of my artwork, it's a bit disturbing, so I looked at ways to make a couple bucks myself to pay for the site and the time it takes to do custom work.
Thanks to everyone who has given positive comments!

PERSONAL TEMPO
I am getting ready to for another government paid vacation.
I try to keep up with requests for artwork whether it's personal or just an idea someone would like to see. But life, a range base and another deployment have prompted a delay in some requested work. My apologies for those I have not replied to.
I have enlisted the help of another absolutely talented EOD man who has accepted the challenge of reviewing all art requests that come my way.
I'm not sure what capabilities I will have to update the website while I am gone, but I will have my laptop to play with in my free time and ultimately update the site upon my return.
NEW ADDITIONS TO WEBSITE
I've recently begun to include the Army, Navy and Marine EOD information into the site
At the request of our female EOD Techs, I've included a place to post artwork with "Hunks" sporting the crab. I haven't had much inspiration to work on those :( and I've yet to get any requests, so that may be going away, we'll see.
HELP FROM YOU
I would love to put together info on the following:
I've already created a place to show these things off, but if you have additions, please shoot them my way!
